Last month we got the great news of a new Baby Hippo born in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the first in 13 years. Now Disney has given us a look at a video of the new Baby Hippo in action in the park, and boy is he cute! Oh yeah, by the way, his name is Augustus as if you couldn’t tell from the photo below!
Little Augustus is now a whopping 168 pounds!! Think about that as he was just born over a month ago! It’s good to know he has a playful spirit and stays close to his mom Tuma.

Be sure to check out the new baby hippo the next time you’re at the Animal Kingdom on the Kilimanjaro Safaris, there with his mother Tuma.
This is just the latest new member of the Animal Kingdom family, over the summer some new tiger cubs were born, and you can now go and see Anala and Jeda on the Maharajah Jungle Trek!
