Spyglass Grill Opens at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

The Spyglass Grill is now open at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort!  Amid the construction going on at the Caribbean Beach Resort, this is a new walk-up quick service location offering Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and featuring popular American foods infused with classic Caribbean flavors.  Here’s what you can expect when coming to Spyglass Grill:

Breakfast:

For breakfast, there are some really unique items that highlight some of the Caribbean flavors:

• Cream Cheese and Guava-Stuffed French Toast with fresh strawberry guava syrup.
• Pineapple-Banana Pancake served with crispy granola and maple syrup.
• Breakfast Cuban is just for you!  This breakfast sandwich has: ham, pulled pork, egg and Swiss cheese.

Lunch and Dinner:

For lunch and dinner the menu is full of some tasty-looking burgers, salads and tacos.  Here are some samples:

• Chorizo Burger, which comes with provolone, potato straws, and my favorite part – crispy pork belly!
• Chopped Jerk Chicken Salad
• Plantain and Yuca Chips
• Caribbean Tacos.  Your choice of spiced fish, shredded beef, jerk chicken or vegan black beans with sides of: pickled vegetables and cabbage, cilantro crema, cotija cheese and pico de gallo.

Kid’s Menu:

Lots of good looking options for kids including:

• Tacos with chicken or fish served with Mickey vegetable chips or fresh fruit.
• Chopped Jerk Chicken Salad
• Chili-Lime Shrimp Salad
• Passion Fruit Tres Leche!

Drinks Menu:

Of course you need something to wash all that food down with, and the Spyglass Grill will have a nice variety of options like: Beer, Wine, and Specialty Cocktails like Island Margarita, Caribbean Mai Tai, Piña Colada or Strawberry Daiquiri.  There are even some non-alcoholic options like Smoothies, Joffrey’s Coffee, Specialty Coffee, Hot Cocoa, Sodas and Hot Tea.

To get to the Spyglass Grill just head over to the Trinidad South area of  Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and makes a nice option for guests staying in that area so they don’t have to go all the way to the main building for food.  We’re looking forward to trying Spyglass Grill and seeing what’s good!
