As I reported a while back one of Disney’s water parks is making an expansion. Well now today we got confirmation on Miss Fortune Falls coming to Typhoon Lagoon. Miss Fortune Falls is a family style raft ride that will share with people the story of the fictitious Captain Mary Oceaneer, a treasure hunter, who was stranded at Typhoon Lagoon years ago by a storm.
Guests will board treasure rafts, and will ascend to the top of the attraction before plunging into a white-water adventure where they will be able to spot some of the treasures Captain Oceanear gathered from around the world.
With a ride time of two minutes, Miss Fortune Falls will be the lengthiest attractions at both Disney Water Parks.
I am super excited about this addition, it’s been far too long since Typhoon has made any expansion and with that other Orlando based theme park opening its own water park soon, the timing couldn’t be better.
Miss Fortune Falls sis expected to open in March of 2017. I’ll share with you more details about this new addition to Typhoon Lagoon as soon as I have them so stay tuned!!
