Beginning next month in August, Ziploc will be the new sponsor of Splash Mountain in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. At first glance it might seem like a strange choice, but guests will be provided free Ziploc bags before getting on to put their electronics and personal items in. They will be special Ziploc bags with the Splash Mountain logo on them and will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis so it’ll be better to get there early.
Ironically today Disney also announced that they’re getting rid of all plastic straws and many other plastic items from the Disney Parks around the world by mid-2019.
