For a while I’ve been thinking, it would be awesome to have a place to go in Disney Springs to just chill and enjoy a nice glass of wine and some cheese and very soon we’ll have just that. Recently Disney announced about Wine Bar George coming to Disney Springs. This is great news for you fellow wine lovers out there!
Master Sommelier George Miliotes, is bringing this Wine Bar to The Landing area of Disney Springs sometime in 2017. It will be a place that anyone from a fellow wine expert to a beginner can go to taste some new wines they might not be familiar with, drink some they already love and to educate themselves more even about pairing the wines with specific foods.

The design that you can see in the drawing looks really cool too. The wine bar itself will be on the 2nd floor, above Vivoli il Gelato and Joffrey’s Tea Traders. There will also be a shop/market located below called “The Basket”, and there you will be able to buy wine, cheese, sandwiches, etc. This sounds like a great idea, as sometimes you just want to chomp on a big hunk of cheese while sipping your glass of wine…now I no where I’ll be able to go to do just that!
Disney Springs continues to make improvement after improvement, and this is one of the last missing pieces of the Disney Springs Puzzle. I think there is a definite need for a place like Wine Bar George and it will fit in great with the existing Disney Springs lineup. Look for the construction on Wine Bar George to begin soon and for it to open later on in 2017 in Disney Springs.
