Rex and Jessie Installed on Slinky Dog Dash in Toy Story Land

UPDATE – Friday 11/11/17: A few days ago we told you about the Rex Figure that was installed on the Slinky Dog Dash Coaster in Toy Story Land.  Well now a few days later we see that Jessie has also been added to the theming of the attraction.  Rex and Jessie were the first two characters added in Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios so far.

Check out this video posted by the Disney Parks Blog showing how Rex and Jesse were installed on the Slinky Dog Dash:

ORIGINAL STORY – Sunday 11/6/17: Just a day after our last Toy Story Land Update in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new Rex Figure has been installed to the theming of the Slinky Dog Dash Coaster.  We were able to get a look at this giant 15-20ft Rex figure.

You can see construction workers propping it up from a lift:

The Rex figure will sit on a tower of Jenga blocks in the middle of a curve in the Slinky Dog Dash track and from the Toy Story Land model in Walt Disney Presents, it looks like Jessie has him lassoed real good:

We don’t know all the details about Slinky Dog Dash Coaster yet, but it’d be sweet if the Jenga tower Rex is on was moving and shaking as ride vehicles pass by.  Maybe Jessie it pulling him and the whole thing looks like it will collapse or something.

We’ll have to wait and find out as new info about Toy Story Land comes out!

Your Thoughts:

I want to know what you think about the Rex and Jessie figures in Toy Story Land.  Do you like the whole theming of the land?  What would you like Rex to do on Slinky Dog Dash?  Let us know in the comments section below!
