FIRST LOOK: Toy Story Land Quick Service “Woody’s Lunch Box”

Toy Story Land Quick Service Woody's Lunch Box concept artJust now the Disney Parks Blog Shared a first look at the the quick service restaurant planned for Toy Story Land called: Woody’s Lunch Box.  This is something brand new as Disney hasn’t yet talked about anything other than the Toy Story Land attractions so far.

Of course Woody’s Lunch Box fits right in perfectly into the theming of Toy Story Land, where guests will be “shrunk” down to the size of toys in Andy’s Backyard.  But even toys get hungry and that’s where Woody’s Lunch Box comes in!  The story behind this new quick service restaurant is that Andy himself has created the restaurant using a lunch box and thermos.  The fare is being described as “tasty meals and old fashioned soda floats”, so think burgers, hot dogs and the like.  I’m also counting on some good milkshakes that can compete with 50’s Prime Time.  Disney does give mention to partnering with Mini Babybel too, so I’m sure that means some good cheese!!

In the photo you can see Woody’s Lunch Box in the middle of Toy Story Land, and some of the items from his lunch.  There are even green army men looking out for Andy if he should return.  I like some of the other theming touches, especially the Scrabble pieces on the right spelling out: “Toilets” and the blocks spelling: “Boys” and “Girls,” very cute!

We knew we’d be getting a quick service of some kind, and this sounds as good as any.  Expect a Woody’s Lunch Box Opening at the same time as Toy Story Land in Summer 2018.  Stay tuned for more details as they come out including a menu as soon as we have it!

This is too Cute! I'm sad that it won't be open when we go in March, but I'm sure my kids will love it in 2019.
