“Chicken Guy” is New Planet Hollywood Observatory Quick Service Restaurant

Chicken Guy New Planet Hollywood Observatory Quick Service

We told you some months ago that a new quick service restaurant was coming to Planet Hollywood Observatory in Disney Springs.  Now it looks like we know the name of the new restaurant: Chicken Guy, and we have some concept art for it.

It looks like Planet Hollywood icon Guy Fieri is teaming up with Poultry Palace to create this new quick service location Chicken Guy.  Fieri of course has his own lineup of custom sandwiches on the Planet Hollywood Observatory menu so collaborating to make Chicken Guy is easy to imagine.

The new restaurant will feature: yes, chicken…in the form of sandwiches, soups, wraps, salads, etc.  Having a menu based only on chicken doesn’t exactly thrill me to death, but the menu will be “made from scratch and fresh-to-order” which sounds at least promising.  I guess if the chicken is done right it has a chance.

Interviews for positions at Chicken Guy are going on at the Lake Buena Vista Wyndham until June 22 with the call out for everything from dishwashers to cooks.

We weren’t overjoyed with our review of Planet Hollywood Observatory, we rank it in the bottom couple table service options in Disney Springs.  Let’s hope that Chicken Guy can do right what unfortunately Planet Hollywood Observatory gets wrong.
