How many times have you come down form your hotel room to the bus stop and find this scene in the photo above? Just missed it! Well the latest update to the My Disney Experience app changes all that! Yes Walt Disney World Bus Arrival Times are now available on the My Disney Experience app. With this new feature guests will be able to check when the next buses are arriving to the destination of their choice and at what time it will get them there.
All you have to do is download the latest version of the My Disney Experience app. Once you login to My Disney Experience, look for your hotel reservation (you have to have an active reservation at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.) Click on it and there will be an icon “See Bus Times.” By clicking on that, it will show you in real-time the up-to-the-minute estimates of the next buses arriving at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, the locations they are going to and when they will arrive at the destination.

I love this addition, I think it’s very practical and will help guests big time. Yes it’s true that right now at most Walt Disney World Resort Hotels there are screens at the bus stops telling you when the next buses will arrive, but this is superior because you can already know that information from up in your room. How many of you have gone down the the bus stop and realized you just missed the bus, but if you had known before that it was arriving you would have got ready and got down there earlier? It happens to me all the time. This way when you are still in your room you’ll be able to anticipate the bus arrival and make perfect time!
My Disney Experience app also has a few new additions besides the Bus Times. One is they’ve made it easier to navigate, changing around some of the features like FastPass+, Mobile Food Ordering, etc. This latest update comes in a long line of them in the recent past, with Disney adding such updates as: allowing guests to use their mobile devices as a room key, being able to view room charges, Disney Dining Plan usage, Online Check-in, and more.
We’re looking forward to testing out the Bus Arrival Times feature and everything else coming in the future!
