New My Disney Experience Features Added to Latest Update

New My Disney Experience FeaturesIn the last few months Disney has made numerous positive changes to its My Disney Experience app.  Back in May we had the Mobile Food Order system added to quick service restaurants around Walt Disney World, then last month an Online Check-in feature was added.  Now there are some new My Disney Experience features just added that will add tremendous value to your vacation experience in Walt Disney World.

1. Guests using the Disney Dining Plan will be able to check how many dining credits they have left right from the app including: table service, quick service and snacks.  So often you have no idea how many credits you have left and this can get complicated when you have a big group.  This is a super useful feature and solves one of the biggest problems I have with the Disney Dining Plan.

2. Guests at a WDW Resort can now use the My Disney Experience app to check the remaining balance on their room charge.  This is also a big help and will make it way more convenient for guests who now don’t have to make a trip down to the front desk to see how much they’ve charged so far, but can do it right from one of the parks before making a purchase!

3. Now both WDW and Disneyland guests will be able to renew their annual passes through the app.  This one isn’t as big a deal as the other 2, but still convenient and makes all your Disney trip info easily accessible through the My Disney Experience App.

Overall I’m happy with the additions and love to see Disney making the app more and more useful to guests!
